Edmond Provder is a Certified Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor and owner of Occupational Assessment Services Inc. (OAS). OAS is a nationwide agency with offices in New York, New Jersey, Florida, Texas, and California.   OAS provides Vocational Evaluations and Life Care Plans for use in personal injury, product liability, medical malpractice, wrongful termination, age discrimination, and divorce cases. Mr. Provder’s has worked in the rehabilitation field as a counselor and vocational expert since 1973, and serves as a vocational expert in both plaintiff and defense cases.

 

Mr. Provder is proud to have contributed to the top New Jersey personal injury recoveries in 2011. He is looking forward to being of service to more clients nationwide, as OAS has started conducting vocational evaluations and life care plan through Skype Video Conferencing.  By switching from in-person evaluations to Skype evaluations, injured clients may participate in evaluations from the comfort of their own home. Skype evaluations have allowed for more time with the client, and increased work efficiency. They have also eliminated costly travel time by both parties, and they offer a more comfortable evaluation location for the injured client.

During the evaluation, we will discuss establish the injured plaintiff’s needs for any physical or vocational rehabilitation, as well as his or her transferable skills, vocational aptitude, and any needed workplace accommodation.  In addition, OAS is one of the few companies that can perform vocational aptitude and skill testing over the internet and through their own web portal.   OAS will then compile the results of the evaluation with current local labor market data into a comprehensive report, recommending the plaintiff’s potential employability, earning capacity and long term life care planning needs.
